Keep up to date with podcasts – Technology and the Web
Posted by LibeRaCe on September 11, 2009
If you don’t have time to trawl the web, scan through your RSS feeds or you just miss the sound of a friendly human voice on the Interweb, you can still keep up to date with lots of technological goings on by downloading a few podcasts. You can then listen to these at your leisure (or for the more adventurous download them onto your MP3 player or mobile phone).
Some accessible and interesting shows include :
BBC Digital Planet – http://www.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/series/digitalp
Guardian Tech Weekly – http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/series/techweekly
CNET UK – http://crave.cnet.co.uk/podcast/
ComputerWeekly – http://www.computerweekly.com/Home/podcasts.htm
TiTT – Tuck in To Tech http://tuckintotech.com/ which is presented by two teenagers from Northern England
Coleg Llandrillo staff and students – If you want to know more about podcasts (how to find/download/play them) or the Web in general, just call down to the Library and IT Workshop in K block and we’ll be happy to help!
