– Small quake, big excitement – Householders and insurance companies are dealing with the effects of the biggest earthquake in the UK for nearly 25 years. See some of the pictures here.
– Princes comes home early – Prince Harry’s tour of duty as a front-line soldier was cut short after a popular US-based website disclosed his whereabouts. His presence in Afghanistan’s Helmand province was unreported for ten weeks as part of an agreement between the Ministry of Defence and the media
– Anne Frank: the producers’ cut – A stage musical showing the life of Anne Frank in Nazi-occupied Amsterdam has opened in the Spanish capital Madrid. The controversial production, A Song to Life, shows Anne and her Jewish family hiding from persecution in a secret attic. The musical has caused a spilt between the two main organisations that protect her memory.
– Car parking charges at NHS hospitals in Wales are to be scrapped, following a decision by the Welsh Assembly. Parking will be free at many hospitals from 1 April. Charges will be phased out gradually where private companies operate hospital parking. But how will the loss of revenue affect patients?
