Llandrillo Library‘s insight:

[The] purpose in this report is to demonstrate to you the role that
public libraries have and can have in relation to reducing child
poverty in Wales.
[SCL Wales] believe public libraries are uniquely placed in the heart of the community to provide a range of social, economic, education and
health benefits and opportunities. Libraries bring people together.
They are also vital in reaching out to more hard to reach and
vulnerable people, for example to those who live in low income
households, to those living in rural areas and to those who are less
able to afford to pay for services.
