Collaborative Approaches to Information Literacy
This event aims to give participants an opportunity to learn from the good practice of the presenters who have innovated and developed their practice by working collaboratively.
The speakers for the event include staff from different HE and FE institutions who will discuss how they have collaborated with different professionals, both across their institutions, and externally.
As a result of attending this event participants will have a greater understanding of how to develop integrated approaches to information and digital literacy practice. There will be a focus on how collaborative practice can raise the profile of IL beyond the library and enable services to work more efficiently with stronger outcomes. Attendees will learn practical ways to share information and knowledge beyond immediate teams, and how to build relationships to make better use of existing resources and aid skill development.
